By accessing or using TranscribeAudio's website, Chrome extension, and transcription services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

TranscribeAudio provides real-time audio transcription through a Chrome extension. The Service captures audio from browser tabs and converts it to text using AI-powered transcription technology.

3. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
• One person or entity may not maintain more than one account.

4. Subscription Plans and Payments

• Starter Plan: Monthly subscription with limited transcription minutes per month.
• Pro Plan: Monthly or yearly subscription with unlimited transcription.
• Lifetime Plan: One-time payment for unlimited lifetime access.
• Payments are processed securely through Stripe.
• Subscription plans renew automatically unless canceled before the end of the billing period.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe Customer Portal. Access remains active until the end of the current billing period.

5. Refund Policy

We offer refunds on a case-by-case basis. If you are unsatisfied with the Service, please contact us within 7 days of purchase at support@transcribe-audio.com. Lifetime plan purchases are non-refundable after 14 days.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to transcribe content you do not have the right to access or record.
• Redistribute, resell, or sublicense transcription output for commercial purposes without authorization.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service.
• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable local, state, national, or international law.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
• Use automated tools to access the Service beyond normal usage patterns.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by TranscribeAudio and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any content you transcribe using the Service.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that transcriptions will be 100% accurate. Transcription quality may vary based on audio quality, background noise, accents, and other factors.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TranscribeAudio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the Service.

10. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting a notice on our website. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which TranscribeAudio operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
